This bill requires a school district to maintain a record of all requests for interdistrict transfer and records of the disposition of those requests. It will also require a school district to, on or before the end of June of each year, submit the information for the current school year to the State Superintendent of Schools. The bill would require the Superintendent to, on or before by August 1 of each year, post the information submitted for the current school year on the department’s internet website. SB 399 improves the quality of useable information for school, parents, and students.
