State Allocation Board Oath of Office

Senator Roger Niello was appointed as a member of the State Allocation Board by Senate President pro Tempore Monique Limón on February 18, 2026. The State Allocation Board was established in 1947 and is responsible for awarding state funding for public Transitional Kindergarten through 12th grade school facilities in California. In response to his appointment, Niello stated, “I am honored to serve on the State Allocation Board. It is important to make thoughtful budget decisions for school facilities, and I will take my role as a board member with the diligence and attention that our schools deserve.”
