Republicans, Law Enforcement, and Crime Victim Advocates Demand Funding for Prop. 36

A budget is an expression of priorities. The current version of the 2025-26 budget does not fulfill the will of the voters who overwhelmingly supported Proposition 36. The one-time $100 million allocation is wholly inadequate to achieve the goals of a treatment-focused approach and self-sufficiency.
