Mather Veterans Village Phase IV Groundbreaking

Located on the former Mather Air Force Base, Mather Veterans Village is the Sacramento region’s first dedicated affordable housing community for veterans who have experienced homelessness. On the grounds of a former military training stands a place of healing, stability, and opportunity for our veterans. The Village is walking distance from the Mather VA Hospital and provides resources including case management, employment, counseling, organized social opportunities, resource navigation support and more. Phase IV will add 70 more units, and the new homes are expected to open in August 2027.
