The Blue Envelope Program Press Conference

The Blue Envelope Program gives individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, or communication barriers a voluntary program to let law enforcement across counties know their needs during traffic stops or emergencies. For our law enforcement, the program provides officers with critical information to help them adapt their approach to minimize confusion and stress in these encounters. I am proud to co-author Senator Ochoa Bogh’s SB 664 to make this program statewide.
