SR 57 – Joint Sunset Review Committee

 

Summary: The Joint Sunset Review Committee has not appointed members since the 2011-2012 Legislative Session. SR 57 states that the Senate Rules Committee shall make the required appointments to the committee.

The Joint Sunset Review Committee was created to identify and eliminate waste, duplication, and inefficiency in government agencies, and the purpose of the committee is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of every eligible agency to determine if the agency is still necessary and cost effective.
