SB 51 – Permanent Standard Time

Summary: 

Currently, federal law only allows for states to authorize Permanent Standard Time or utilize Daylight Saving Time on a temporary basis for a portion of the year. This bill would express the intent of the Legislature to enact legislation that would relate to the implementation of permanent standard time.
