Summary: Helps protect homeless children by narrowly expanding state funding options to programs that provide treatment of substance use disorders where children are present. Expanding funding options to programs that work to help parents address their addiction issues will help protect children by opening more housing program options, getting them the service they need and setting them on the path to stability.
